Winter Day at Delta Ponds

I captured this plein air painting live on location at Delta Ponds in Eugene, Oregon on a less-than-frigid January Winter's day. Here in Oregon, near the 45th parallel, the sun does not get very high in Winter. The low sun that day cast a lovely, cool light on the water. The bare trees and shrubs on the banks made interesting reflections in the pond. Buildings faded in the misty distance gave depth to the scene. This piece is unframed but framing is available.
