Quickening timelapse

"Quickening" is an original abstract painting, 35 x 35", acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas. This piece was designed using principles of the golden ratio, 1.6:1, often found in nature. This time-lapse video shows the steps I took in creating it, from first wash to completion. It is set to the song "Motations", written by Dave Bender, and performed by our band, Mother of Pearl, featuring Dave Bender on trumpet, David J. Andersen on lead guitar, myself Tara Kemp on ukulele, Sharon Rogers on accordion, Kenny Sokolov on percussion, and Bud Chase on bass. ©2021 all rights reserved
