"October Explosion" is an original oil painting inspired by one of the last fall dahlia bouquets from my garden. This time-lapse video shows the steps I took in creating it, from first wash to completion. It is set to the song "Fara Cuvinte", performed by our band, Mother of Pearl, featuring Dave Bender on trumpet, David J. Andersen on lead guitar, myself Tara Kemp on ukulele, Sharon Rogers on accordion, Kenny Sokolov on percussion, and Bud Chase on bass. ©2021 all rights reserved
